Christian Psychology as a Challenge

the whole which gives significance to every
particular part). Thus, the hypothesis of Ak-
                kermann (2013:85): dignity connects with
concepts such as equality and non-discrimi-
nation. In this regard, human worth (digni-
ty) becomes a kind of criterion in order to
understand the spiritual dimension of life.
At stake in soul care is how to promote the
value of life so that human beings are aware
of the significance and the dignity of their
                being.
